Help!

Hi,
I would really like to know where the best place to stay in the Florida Keys would be and how to get to the Tortuga Isles. The four of us are traveling at the end of March (and we love the beach)and we really want to see the best sights. If anyone can give me some tips, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank You!!!

A more specific title will get you more responses.

Okay - 1st tip - repost your question with "Florida Keys" in the title or "Floriday Keys / Tortuga Isles". That will hone in on people who know about that specific area.

N007, I see that you're a new poster. Welcome!

Just as a helpful hint, you'll get a lot more help if you put Florida Keys in your title.

Ah, I see going_places just told you the same thing!

1. Get familar with this forum: http://fodors.com/forums/faqs.cfm

2. To learn more the Florida Keys, type key words in the search box above and highlight the state name, "Florida."

3. To which Tortuga Isles are you referring? i.e., in the southern Carribean or off Costa Rica?

4. You might want to pick up some travel guides at your local library.

5. It'd help to know your interests, what you'd like to do/see there, activity levels, etc.

Good luck with your planning, and happy reading!

BayouGal, those are all great suggestions. I do think the OP is referring to Dry Tortugas National Park.

It might help a little if you narrowed your search a bit. The Fla Keys are long and all have much, but different things to offer. Here is a site to help with that task. http://www.fla-keys.com

Great info here. Thanks for explaining that Tortuga question, Austin. I am familar with the Keys, but kind of wondered if N007 maybe wanted a cruise out of Key West or something. Are you sure they meant the NP? Kind of a strange way of asking about it, N007. I hope we are interpreting your vague OP (original post) correctly.

The OP has reposted her question with a better title although she is still getting flack for not doing enough research. If you have something good to add maybe you want to post to her new thread. Personally, I haven't been to the Keys lately so I can't add any up-to-date information.

Since most of the posts on here are within minutes of one another, they were probably all written at or about the same time. N007, I don't think any of these people meant to be telling you the same thing over and over. I think all the posts showed up at the same time, so no one knew the other guy was posting the same information.
