Hearst Castle Tour #4

We've been to Hearst Castle a few times and plan to go again next week. I'm getting ready to reserve a tour and am thinking of Tour #4. If you've been on this one, how did you like it?

I haven't taken Tour 4, but if you haven't taken Tour 2, I can recommend it (which I liked a lot better than Tour 1). Tour 2 (like Tour 4) includes the indoor and outdoor pools.

Whatever tour you do, do the pools. For me, they were the best parts of the castle. (At the outdoor pool, look for the mer-men. Actually, they are hard to miss!

We've taken tours 1-3 so I just signed us up for tour 4.

Tour #5 is actually my favorite. It's an evening tour and there are people sitting around in period wardrobes. It's such a magical experience to see the castle at sunset. The evening tour is only offered on limited evenings during the year, but well worth it if available.

We really enjoyed tour 4. It was a beautiful day, and it was nice to be outdoors, walking around the beautiful grounds of Hearst Castle, and seeing the gorgeous flowers. We saw the outdoor and indoor pools as well as one of the guest houses and the wine cellar. If you like gardens, and if you've taken the other tours, you will probably enjoy this one.
