Hawaiian Honeymoon
My fiance and I would like to spent our honeymoon in Hawaii. I would like a VERY NICE hotel. Money not an option. Prefer all inclusive with TOP service. Which island would be best for honeymooners; which hotel would you recomment. Need advise desperately for my July honeymoon.
Thanks,

Congratulations Sharon,
All Inclusive is not typical in Hawaii. There are many wonderful restaurants both at hotels and in the towns.
For Very TOP Service - Mauna Lani Hotel on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island. My wife now rates all other hotels as to how close it comes to Mauna Lani. If MONEY IS REALLY NOT AN OPTION, check out the bungalows at Mauna Lani. They are private structures with 24 hour butler and cook, their own pools, limo, whatever you can think of and all for $3500/day.
Every stay there has been perfect.
Aloha,
Bart

Four Seasons Maui. OR on Kauai the Princeville or Hyatt. Kauai is more quiet and lush. All of these are ranked top hotels in the Pacific in both Conde Nast Traveler and Travel and Leisure - you go to the magazine sites and see what they say. 4 Seasons ranked number 1.

If money is no object, then there is only one choice- the Grand Wailea Resort in Wailea. Check it out at :

Hi Sharon,
We just got back from our Maui Honeymoon. I HIGHLY recommend the Four Seasons, which is where we stayed. We checked out all the other hotels and there is just SOMETHING about the four seasons. I would urge against the Grand Wailea. It is right next door to the four seasons so we checked it out - It is gorgeous but TOO MANY KIDS. It is geared toward Families. there were very few children at the four seasons. The GRand Wailea is has waterfall type pools which would appeal to the family-set. Plus it is HUGE whereas the Four Seasons is relatively MUCH smaller which makes it more intimate. Plus they pamper you like crazy. They treat you like you own the place!! I heard that there is also a great, new, and very expensive resort on Lanai (the island across from Maui) HAve an awesome time!
