Hawaiian cruise
Hi, while on a Hawaii cruise and looking at excursions with kids? We were thinking of renting a car for one day in Maui, which we've been to before, the 2nd day in Maui going snorkeling. Then in Kauai and Hawaii we were looking for suggestions as we have a lot of options. Also, we have an elderly family member would like to go to a hotel with a pool and pay for a day pass on any of the islands. We read the the Hilton Hawaii used to offer this, but not any more. Are there any recommendations for this option?
Thank you!

When is your trip? Normally I would recommend renting a car and driving up to the North Shore on Kauai. However due to extreme floods last spring, you cannot drive past Hanalei, but there are still plenty of other nice beaches to visit and Hanalei itself is a cute town and a nice place to have lunch. Or you can drive to Waimea Canyon and Koke'e State Park to see the Kalalau Lookout.
The road might be open by summer.
The Marriott used to sell day passes but only during periods of low occupancy, not sure if they still do. Not aware of any others that offer this. You could get a treatment at the Grand Hyatt, but can only use their spa pool, not the main pools.
