I love a white sand beach and a house right on the water. I have looked extensively on the B.I. for rentals and so far have not found anything like this. I am very interested in exploring Volcano National Park however. We've been to Kauai twice. The north shore of Kauai is very lush and green with flowers everywhere. The scented air wafts you to sleep at night. We also liked the north shore of Oahu very much. (We were there in the summer so the water was swimmable.) But so far Kauai has my heart. The island is small enough to explore in one week but diverse enough to keep you interested.
