Thank you guys for all the great ideas.
I see the book being marked down to $27 in Entertainment website.
I am wondering how long it normally takes to receive th the Entertainment book since you place an order? Do they have express shipment options?
sk84 funngirl, how long did your book travel? I am afraid that it might arrive after I leave.

I just got my Hawaii book and already know it will save alot of $$. I use my local one all the time. Just make sure your take the time to go throught the book and see everything that's in there and make a list!
I reserved a car for one week with Entertainment discount in Maui and then changed to Costco.comp--it was $40 less!! No price difference for Oahu.

LindaSus,
may I ask what company have you booked your car with? And was it for a long period of time? I got an impression that the coupons in the entertainment book can be used only if you reserve a car for a week or so.. Thanks!

with Ent book I booked through National--they had a coupon for free 2 car upgrade, as well as one free day (with minimum 6 day rental). Costco was with Budget (one free day rental for same time period).
national was $189, budget was under $150

I plan to buy the book for a trip to Oahu in May. I already booked a flight through ATA($400RT-2 adults 3kids), and booked a room through Bookit.com at the Resortquest Wakikki on the beach. Can I still save money if I buy the book?
Is it sold at costco?

you can save a lot. I just got back from Oahu, used a lot of coupons on activities and fast food/icecream places and a card to dine in decent restaurants. they also gave me $40 discount of a tour to Polynesian Cultural center. It has a lot of discounts on water activities ( parasailing, jetski, snorkeling etc), buy one, get one free to Zoo, Bowfin submarine, Mussouri etc. It's definitely worth buying it. Most of the discounts are for Oahu/Honolulu area. There was somethingn for BI and Maui but not a lot.

I just booked a 6:30 reservation for Nick's Fishmarket on the Friday we arrive. We get in and two and will have a rental car. Figure we have plenty of time to walk to the restaurant.
We will use our Entertainment coupon.
