PDX - I was at Target today
I got sunscreen and a straw bag

I actually leave for NYC on Friday for a family wedding - get home Monday and leave again on Thursday. I do not go back to work actually till June 20...but I have a 14 year old so does that count :-?

Nnnnaahh, a 14 y/o doesn't count as work, though we all know it is.
I still need a hat, which I'm trying to put off until we get there and I want a rashguard shirt to wear while snorkeling and long days out in the sun. I'm having a heck of a time with that one.

MomDD.. I'll be taking my 14 year old to Hawaii next year ...and it'll be less work than staying at home during vacation week 
I posted on March 1st that we haven't been to Hawaii for 5 years and I booked today for February 2012 .. 364 days from when you started this thread but already down to 271

PDX I found them to run slighly large. They did not ride up at all. I do not chance sunburns any longer at all - and I managed to spend a week in Oahu in 2009 and not get a burn at all

It's 245 days for us; too long, but we like to wait until we've had enough of winter and the Humpback sightings are plentiful.
Tried to see if link to a handy count-down calendar had already been mentioned, but may have missed a posting; if so, please excuse.
Anyway, this one is fairly easy to set-up (not as much fun as the discontinued "Hawaii Anytime", which included Island music, photos, destination tips, latest ticket sales, etc, that was sponsored by Hawaiian Airlines, but (hopefully) better than diy):
