Have you ever found a web cam and posed for it?

My husband & I posed in front of BourboCam (NOLA.com) last year and I'm trying to talk my "Fodor's buddy" Kal and his wife into doing the same thing this year for us. Has anybody else been seen in all their glory?

Hahahaha...the things we do for our Fodor Friends!

I'll be in Chicago from 8-9 thru 8-14. Anybody know if there is a live cam in Chi-town? As long as it's not on top of the Sears Tower.

Maybe I can make a massive replica of a Fodor's Pin and set it in front of the camera?
Mahalo,
Kal

My friend lives in northern MD and his daughter is still living in upstate NY. She was heartbroken on senior prom night to realize that her dad would be unable to see her in her formal finery. She called him, arranged a time and went with her friends to a local entertainment area that has a "street cam". Called dad on the cell phone and he got to check her out in real time - very nice end result for all involved.

Thanks for the suggestions. Since we have tics for Cubs/SF Giants series, I may hang out at the one across from Murphy's either on Friday, 8-10 or the Sunday after.

Owen...Great story.

My mum and dad just did!! Only a 20 second or so delay (we were on cell phone at the time). Poor grand-children were terrified...they couldn't understand why Nana was in the 'puter!!!

Check out www.camvista.com. They have several cameras in several countries. When I'm in London, I make all of my friends jealous by posing at the one in Leicester Square. They capture the image on their computer, print it out, and that's their personalized postcard from me.
