Glad you like it, Carol! Some day I expect to see you on the board, counting down the days to your annual trek to Maui like Kal does for Kauai!

A lei--smells incredible and highly unusual outside of the islands. Lilikoi (passion fruit) syrup delivered with a great recipe for coconut pancakes! Divine. Macadamia nuts! Skip the chocolate covered type and also the pineapple wine. Aloha from Boston!

Mels-13 but who's counting? :-"

There's only one time where I gotta have my nuts covered with chocolate and that's when I'm in Hawaii and having a nice red wine or port for dessert.
(Or when a beautiful Wahine gives me a box in NOLA!)

BTW, Sagitarians RULE!

Should read: The only time I gotta have Mac nuts covered in chocolate....".

Color me embarrassed.

But then again......

I've gotten some great gifts from Hawaii. Three sarongs, pinapple, flip flops, shell necklaces, sand, earings, nuts and the wackiest of all, an ashtray made from a coconut in the shape of a mans, um, anatomy.

My aunt sent me a Christmas greeting card photo of her and Don Ho. How wonderful.

We have received many great gifts from Hawaii. My husband's entire family lived there for years, so Crazy Shirts and Macadamia Nuts were the annual Christmas presents!

When my daughter visited a few years ago she bought me a beautiful Hawaiian print sheath dress. One of my favorite gifts she picked out was a small glass pineapple with gold leaves.

My best friend returned from her recent trip to Maui with a beautiful hand-painted t-shirt, dolphin candles, wooden monkey banks and lobster-print boxers for my son. A Dole pineapple and a coconut are also some favorites!

Now you have all got me curious!!!
Simpson, did you ever receive your bath bars from kopahaiku?
Melissa, what are your favorites? The haiku rain and pikake looked great.
Cindyrella, have you tried the gardenia?
Anybody know where I could get some tropical scented shampoo to go with my new soap?

My soap favorites? I think it may be subjective....I prefer the fruity scents, like Passion Orange or stuff with banana or coconut in it.
