Hana question

We are planning on going to Hana on March 1 to 4th. Does anyone know whether Oheo Gulch, or 7 Sacred pools is filled with water or dry?

According to the interwebs it rains in Oheo Gulch 270 days a year with an annual total of about 84 inches.
I'm guessing wet.

I know but we have been there when it's been completely dry!

Completely dry? Are you exagerating or did you visit 7 pools of mud and rock? I've never heard about the pools going completely dry. That must be very rare in my small but extensive experience. We were there a few weeks ago. The pools were tame but wet as was Venus pool. Dry is better then flash floods.

I think in March you have a good chance of thumbing wet.

We went on my honeymoon (1st one, almost 30 years ago) and it literally was the 7 pools of sludge and mosquitoes but that was in late August.
