Gundlach bundschu winery

Someone told me this is a place not to miss in Sonoma? Has anyone visited this winery? Any wineries not to miss? My husband and I will be there for 3 days.

I haven't been, but fondly remember a wine dinner at Star Canyon (Dallas) that I attended featuring Gundlach Bundschu - It was FABULOUS!!...definately put them on a don't miss list!!

I would not categorize this winery as "not to miss". It's kind of difficult to get to and the winery is not spectacular as Ferrari-Carano. The wine itself is good for everyday drinking... but no "wow" factor.

We aren't experts, but Gundlach Bundschu and Ravenswood were our 2 favorites (based on good overall experience and tasty wine), in Sonoma.

I like GB wines, though haven't been to the winery.
