I'll have a group of up to 20 traveling in June or July 2022. We want to follow the land tour with a small ship cruise. All are first time visitors to Alaska, are around 50-65 years of age, active and looking for unique, higher end experiences. My thought is to start at Fairbanks for 2 nights, dome train to Denali, 3 nights Denali staying at a lodge in the middle of the park such as Denali Backcountry Lodge, From there I'd like to get a couple days in the Kenai area and finish in Anchorage for a flight to Juneau for the small ship. How would the route look after Denali? The limit should be 8-9 nights for this portion, but perhaps there are other very important sights that I'm missing.
