A few questions, like.....What have you already seen? What type of show are you looking for? Where do your tastes lie?

What I Wore was good but low key. Do you know the cast for this weekend?

I would LOVE to see Driving Miss Daisy. I would love to see Vanessa Redgrave in ANYTHING but DMD would should be a great vehicle. (little pun)

If I were in town, I'd love to see An Evening at the Carlyle - but it's a musical revue

Driving Miss Daisy should be wonderful. Previews start Oct. 7. Time Stands Still will Laura Linney got raves last year and was brought back because of it. It's in previews and opens on the 7th. You might be able to get discounts to both on the left column of broadwaybox.com

Not a play, but I just learned that Trisha Yearwood is cooking at the NYC Wine and Food Festival (presented by Food & Wine and Travel+Leisure). I'd fit that in if I were in the city this weekend -
Here's her info -

and the list of other ticketed options

The Times gave a spectacular review to a re-staging of Mrs. Warren's Profession.

I wouldn't exactly call the review spectacular, except for his high praise of Cherry Jones. He had some serious reservations, include some very critical comments of her co-star.

If you like 80's rock music, we saw Rock of Ages last weekend, not expecting much more than a 'rock concert on Broadway'. We were very pleasantly surprised. Great songs, great band, and a really, really good story. However, if you're not a fan of rock music, might not be your best choice. Whatever you do, DON'T go see A Perfect Crime. Probbly the worst show I've ever seen.
