Lee Ann I was so excited !! What a good game ! I don't think I've ever seen such a good game . And I noticed it was a fast paced game. The board was cleared quickly and the 3 of you had time to stand with Alex at the end .
It really was so exciting and such a good feeling to know a contestant and to k ow we were all rooting for you .
So tell us... What is Alex really like ?

I haven't watched Jeopardy in years but watched it last nite in your honor. You did a great job and I loved the ham story. I don't recall any missed answers and that seems unusual. Hope you had lots of fun and good luck to any others who compete.

LeAnn, you did well. BTW, I guessed Gerald Ford too; DH who never, ever watches guessed Jimmy Carter. I love the show; have to tape and watch later as DH doesn't always like the noise.
You were very poised and confident looking. I couldn't do that. I often know the answers. (I was a National Merrit Scholar). However, during the show, I want to twitch, flap, scream, wave my hands etc, they'd never let me on there!!
You did very well!!

WOW! I got 42 out of 50 right last night. I wonder if that's good enough to make the grade? I know I was typing so fast I did make some spelling mistakes, though I don't usually make many of those, so not so worried about that.

DH and I and our son watched. It looked like so much fun. You seem very perky! It looked like pressing the button is a difficult skill. How soon can you start pressing the button? DS surprised us by getting the final question right. It turns out if we could have a team of 3 people, we might do all right. congratulations on a good effort against tough competitors.

As soon as Alex finishes the last syllable of the last word in the clue, lights go on around the edge of the game board, and you can ring in. If you press the button early, you're locked out for something like 2/10ths of a second.
The contestant coordinators recommend you watch for the lights, but I found it easier to listen carefully to Alex and ring in as soon as he finished the word.
