Grand Teton Campground Rec's?

We will be arriving GTNP from Yellowstone mid-week in July. Which campgrounds are recommended? An order of preference would be helpful. We have a pop-up camper.

Thanks in advance!

Itis too bad that the best place, Jenny Lake, doesn't allow campers. My choices in order would be Lizard Creek, Signal Mountain, Coulter Bay and Gros Venture. There are also private RV parks at Flagg Ranch between YNP and GTNP and at Coulter Bay. Gros Venture is the furthest away from the heart of the park and is usually the last one to fill up.

boom_boom: Thanks for the response. We are in between Glacier and Yellowstone at this point, heading to GT after YS. Was your choice of Lizard Creek over Signal Mtn because of size of campground? I was leaning toward Signal Mtn, because it looked more centrally located....

I appreciate your response!
Thanks!

Hadn't stayed at the others, but we liked Colter.

Can you pull your car right up to your campsite, or you have to park it in a common lot and carry everything out to your camp spot? Thanks!

Please also recommend good campgrounds in Yellowstone and Jackson too. We'd prefer those with flushed toilets and showers. Thanks!

Yes, Signal Mt. is more centrally located. In my case, that wasn't a concern. Actually liked Lizard Creek because it was a litte more remote from the hub of the Park.
