Grand Targhee in Wyoming?

Has anyone been to this place? I'm going to a wedding there and I haven't been able to find a lot of reviews. I will be spending a week in that area -- so I'm looking for general info.

All I can tell you is that the ski area is one of the best around.

What mode of transportation are you using to actually get there?

I'll be flying in to this wedding from St. Louis --- and I won't be going in the winter -- so skiing unfortunately will not be happening. The wedding is in August!

It's over the pass from Jackson Hole, and very close proximity to Yellowstone. Great place!

The reason I asked about mode of travel is bacuse as I recall, and I may be wrong, the easiest approach is actually from the Idaho side.

Grand Targhee is primarily a ski resort, in the summer however it is a very nice mountainous retreat. Flying to Jackson Hole WY and driving HWY 22 over Teton Pass will be the fastest way to get there.
It's a great setting for a wedding but the accomodations there are a bit aged, I would suggest staying somewhere close by but not onsite. I beleive there is a new hotel close by called Teton Springs, they also have homes you can rent.
