Grand Canyon in June - heat?

We've got reservations to stay at the Bright Angel on June 16th. I'm a little worried about the fact that it's not air conditioned. Has anyone else been there that time of year? I know the weather can vary a lot, but is it worth staying on the rim even if it will be very hot?

You will be at about 7,000 ft. altitude at the Rim. Warm, dry, and yet quite cool in the evening. No problem. The summer rains and higher heat and humidity will start in July.
