Good shows which aren't too pricey

Hello!

The major shows in Vegas are quite pricey. Are there any shows that are really good, but reasonably priced?

Define "reasonably priced".
(The general LV definition seems to have changed a lot in the past 10 years).
My short naswer would be "no", unless you find kiddie magic shows good entertainment.
$50 used to buy a top ticket in LV. Now that's what the old, tired second rate acts charge.

Fat Elvis from 3-6 PM in the Barbary Coast lounge - free.

Last year we saw CLint Holmes and had 2/1 deal so got 2 tickets for $65. It was good, I don't think I'd pay $65 per seat though.
Sometimes you can get show deals by signing up for slot club cards at the hotel where the show is. You might be able to get 25% off Penn and Teller at Rio through the slot club.

There's a discount day-of-the-show ticket booth now , between the MGM and the Aladdin on the strip.

Get there late morning for best selections.

Friends insisted that we see the "Bravo" show at the Aladdin and it was absolutely terrific. A joy from start to finish, great surprise. We did not have half-price tickets but compared to other shows we've seen in Las Vegas, this one was worth every penny.

Got 2for1 for Clint Holmes and it was a terrific show. Very enthusiastic and entertaining. Would have paid full price.
Rick Thomas daytime show is well worth it and Lance Burton is on the low end of pricey! but he is great!
Had seen Legends in Concert at Imperial Palace and that was well worth it.
Check the boards for coupon offers that you can print out ahead of time. Half price tickets for Jubilee at Ballys are usually available for 10:30 show.
Also there is half price day of performance tickets at the big Coke bottle place on the strip!
Really good and reasonable..Lance Burton, Clint Holmes and Legends in Concert.

I am traveling alone, so a 2-1 will not help me. What shows are offered at the discount booth?

I have to second the Big Elvis show. Just saw it last week, and just planned on staying a short time. But once he got started, I couldn't hardly make my self leave. He was very good, and the show is free.

Also they were giving out tickets for Mac King at Harrah's, on the street. You could see the show for the price of a drink of $6.95. We were going to go but didn't make it. But I did hear it is very good.

We have been to Vegas 3 years in a row and I have to say the best show so far is Danny Gans, he's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. You have to get tickets at least 1 to 2 months in advance. Good Luck!

The same-day show ticket booth is in the M&M World and it opens at 2:00 PM. They have lots of the shows there. We saw the Improv at Harrah's 2 for 1, and they also had Lord of the Dance, Splash, Charo, Danny Gans, etc.

M&M,as in M&M candy. They have a store right next to the MGM Grand. They have 3 floors of everything M&M. It is a fun store. Do catch the free, M&M movie showing, on the third floor, if you can. It is very cute.
