Good Lunch Spot at Talkeetna

Can you recommend any good places for lunch in the Talkeetna area? (On way from Anchorage to Denali)

I second the Roadhouse suggestion. Coming in on the spur, it's on the far side of town on the left side (far side of town is relative-it's a very small town).

We had a picnic lunch out of the ice chest on a vacant table at the little campground on the edge of town. Met a lot of nice people and had such a relaxing time visiting with everyone.

I too highly recommend the Roadhouse, also frequently stay there too. The Latitude also is a great lunch stop- with excellent halibut baskets.

The Roadhouse is quintessential Talkeetna. Don't miss it. Believe they only serve pancakes at b'fast, but if you can get them, the sourdough pancakes are the best I've ever had. Don't miss their bakery right next to dining room for some treats to take on the road.

No- the Roadhouse serves more than pancakes for breakfast.
