Good Breakfast - Scottsdale area?

I live in DC and am travelling next weekend to Scottsdale for a wedding. My brother (from TX) will also be in town, and we're planning on meeting somewhere for breakfast. Does anyone have any recommendations for a delicious but casual breakfast? We would like something casual - but not as casual as Dennys or IHOP. Appreciate your help!

The Good Egg has 8 or 10 locations in Scottsdale and was voted #1 in Phoenix magazine. Can eat inside or outside in most locations. Have had breakfast there and always enjoy it.

First Watch (4130 N. Goldwater) and The Original Pancake House (6840 E. Camelback)are also good. T.Cook's at the Royal Palms on Camelback is also nice for an outside breakfast. You can check their website for a breakfast menu

A second vote for the Original Pancake House on Camelback. Excellent breakfasts!

Forget Mimi's cafe IMHO; try Chompies if NY style deli breakfast sounds good.

If your in N. Scottsdale the Marriott hotel near the TPC has very good breakfasts and outside patio seating.
