Going to Vegas after Christmas what shows?

We are doing the grown-up trip to Vegas. Not partying nightly for a change.

What shows should we try for?

Danny Gans is GREAT, I have seen him about 4 or 5 times and I still enjoy his show. I also highly recommend Mamma Mia, my DH and I went when it first opened and he did NOT want to go...by the end of the show DH was up dancing/clapping. It is also a GREAT show. If you want a typical LV style show complete with showgirls I recommend Splash, I have seen this show about 4 times and it is great, one of the few shows that the tickets are reasonable (at least last time I went they were)...if you want to see a Cirque show I would pick only one to see and then see "other" shows, Mystere & O are great. (I haven't seen the others). Look and see if Elton John is in town when you are here, his show is great...well worth the money, if he is not here then Celine will be performing.
Anyway, that should get you started!

www.cheapovegas has reviews of the standing shows.

Personally, I'd see if any headliner comedians are in town. That's our favorite entertainment there. Jay Leno has definitely been our favorite.

O is generally well-loved, but obviously, can't please everyone. Check the site posted above and/or www.vegas.com for reviews of all the major shows in vegas.
