Glen Arbor

We are going to the homestead near glen arbor in two weeks, and would like suggestions on some fun things to do. We have been there many times before and have climbed the dunes, done canoeing on the Crystal and visited Empire, Petosky and nearby towns...does anyone have suggestions for new things to do in that area?

You can look for Dave Letterman - he has a house in the area.

Go into Glen Arbor and eat at Cherry Republic! Get the cherry chicken salad and a cherry soda! Yum! I'm envious!

Lots of other great rivers to canoe. The Platte's very close to you. How about a concert at Interlochen? 2 weeks will put you at the beginning of August. Elk Rapids has a nice summer festival w/fireworks, etc, on that weekend. How about a trip to the tip of Old Mission & a visit to the lighthouse? A tour of some of the wineries? When you get to GA, pick up a copy of the "Northern Express." You'll get a good list of activities for the week.
