Hi John,
That is great news.
I'm here in Whitefish on my house hunting trip. Montana sure is different from Utah in many ways. You do get a lot more for your money here, but I'm not sure I would find employment here.
Enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery!

Cool! We were among the first to get past the barricades five years ago. It wasn't schedule to open until a couple of days later, but I think our jammer driver had heard rumors that it may open. We waited for about an hour - and then the opened it up! I'll never forget the parking lot and sidewalks at Logan Pass. Folks were still stocking the gift shop so that wasn't open but the bathrooms were. The sidewalks had been cleared and ran between tunnels of snow, taller than one's head. A fun experience!

John & kureiff,
Yes going very well. I have 3 gorgeous homes to choose from.
1. Big fork, mountain views partial lake view, lower taxes ,lower price. Con: only master on main level, others lower level walkout, on a hillside.
2. Helena Flats, gorgeous home just the right size awesome mountain views closer, lovely old red barn across the street, 1 acre. More money! Great, quiet location. Con: large, major electrical lines and towers within view, about quarter mile away.
3. Mid valley, beautiful Craftsman style house with wonderful landscaping and best views of all! 5 acres, partially finished basement. Con: 1 bathroom on main for master and guests .. jack and Jill style so doable, but not preferable. Also under the flight path for Glacier intl. big problem, but not too close. Still jet noise!
Ugh. Opinions?
