Girls Weekend...Spa Trip?

I want to go on a girls weekend with friends and my sister for her birthday.

We want to book a spa weekend...massages, facials, pool, bar, view...

Totally open to any place in the continental US!

Where would you pick for a weekend???

My wife loves a spa. I think she's had 1,000 massages. Here are some of her favorites.

These two resorts are right outside Phoenix, AZ. The Enchantment Resort is a short drive North of Phoenix.

She also loved The Ritz Carlton @
Amelia Island, FL.

Laguna Beach, CA.

Half Moon Bay, CA.

Naples, FL.

I like small resorts that are like B&B's with 15/20 rooms, good food and a great spa. Soome of the best that we have visited that had a spa were.........

Blackberry Farm in Walland, TN.

Keswick Hall @ Charlottesville, VA.

Little Palm Island, FL off the coast near Key West was fantastic.............

In Canada we found some great places.....

Wickaninnish Inn on Vancouver Island........

The Aerie Resort just North of Victoria...........

Check Out The Wauwinet on Nantucket. They are opening a new spa. It was not there when we visited.

http://www.wauwinet.com/

Woodlands Inn and Resort outside Charleston is nice...........

http://www.woodlandsinn.com/

The Willcox is nice and the owners also own Inn of Five Graces in Santa Fe, NM and The Lake Placid Lodge in Upstate NY.........

http://www.thewillcox.com/

The White Barn Inn in Kennebunkport, ME was outstanding and the food was as good an any place I've ever been.

http://www.whitebarninn.com/

Triple Creek Ranch just South of Missoula, MT is one of the finest resorts I have been to in the U. S. Stay in Castle Rock Cabin, go on a snowmobile ride, ride horses, cross country ski, fish for trout, rest, relax, eat, drink and enjoy yourself.

Auberge Du Soleil is one of my wife's all time favorites just outside Rutherford, CA in Napa Valley an hour north of SF.

Try out their sister property Calistoga Ranch just north near Oakville, CA..........

What part of the U. S. are you from CWOJO99..........My hobby is travel. I have been to over 30 Relais and Chateaux properties in the U. S. and about that many Four Seasons and Ritz Carltons. Give me a starting point and I might find you a place close to your home.

My wife's all time favorite spas were in Bermuda....

http://www.cambridgebeaches.com/

Bahamas.....One and Only Ocean Club.....

http://www.oneandonlyresorts.com/flash.html

San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico......One and Only Palmilla.........

http://www.oneandonlyresorts.com/flash.html

Virgin Gorda......Little Dix Bay.........

http://www.littledixbay.com/

St. John.....Caneel Bay..........

http://www.caneelbay.com/

Maui.........Four Seasons.........

http://www.fourseasons.com/maui/

And She Really Loved Lanai.....I May Have To Take Her Back to Manele Bay.....

http://www.fourseasons.com/manelebay/

If I had a choice and it was convenient I would go to Blackberry Farm near Walland, TN which is a Relais and Chateaux property. The weather is nice in the Smokie's and the resort is fantastic. The spa is in a farmhouse on the property that was once a country estate for a wealthy family. There's the main lodge where there's a great restaurant, new cabins nearby, horses, hiking, trout fishing, and lots of peace and quiet. Senator Lamar Alexander has property next door. It's my favorite hide a way. We have been there three times.
