There is one street there with all the bars on it called Duval Street. You will have dozens to choose from. If you don't like the one you are in just go to the one next store. Word of warning..... there are really no clubs there, they are all just drinking bars.

Janelle,
You will have the best time, we love key west! Our favorite bar is Hogs breath saloon, after 11:00 the band starts and things get crazy. Also one of the best things we did there was a tour of the surrounding land by jet ski it was a blast. Have Fun, Marcia

In response to the last post, I would suggest the quiet side of the island.
We stayed at the Grand Key Resort(owned by Doubletree). They have a great pool area, and we saw some adults and children receiving scuba lessons in the pool. It is only a short 5 minute drive to the best public beach on the island.
The rooms were extremely clean and nice without breaking the bank. Have fun!

I'd advise the exact opposite of the above post! By staying on the Gulf everything will be within close walking distance for children and there's lots to do! The Hyatt is a good place for children and it's in a great location, too. If you're interested in a B&B, the Island City House and Ambrosia are both family-friendly.

try Atlantic Shores for a hoot...not kidding...clothes optional...you must stay OLD TOWN...so you can drink and stagger...try Louie`s Backyard..sunsets:fantastic...Hogs Breath---Sloppy Joe`s,so commercial but you have to do it..entertainment to 4 am...try keywestparadise.com----and DO DO Mallory SQ. for sunset...don`t waste your time staying in New Town/Roosevelt area....too far...from action...
