Gift Bags in NYC
I am visiting NYC and will be here for the next 5 days or so. I am looking for a store that sells gift bags. Imparticular I am looking for one with a martini on it. Is there somewhere I could look, or somewhere someone has seen one? Maybe even somewhere where someone will put one on the bag for me? I am giving a friend a themed birthday gift and have looked all over for a bag near home with no luck.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Do you have a craft store near you now? If you look in the scrapbooking section of any craft store you should be able to find martini cutouts which you could add to a gift bag.
Sorry I can't help with a store location in NYC!

Try Paper Access at 23 W. 18th St. (bet. 5th and 6th) 212-463-7035. Also Papyrus stores - several on the UWS and UES. You could also try one of the hi-end gift stores like Details - several in Chelsea and the west Village.

There's a Party City store, (part of a big chain) that's on 14th street, I think between 6th and 5th avenues.
They carry kid and adult (as in grown-up, not X -rated!)themed party plates, etc, and I suspect, the gift bags to go along with them.

I live about 45 minutes north of Detroit. Shelby Township/Sterling Heights/Rochester type area. What a great idea, thanks so much for everyone's help already (Been busy so far and haven't had a chance to look...but that's what the weekend is for!)
