Georgetown Restaurants

Any very good restaurants in Georgetown? Nothing fancy, pretty surroundings and good food. Prefer American or Italian.

I know you said American or Italian, but Zed's is one of the best places in the US for Ethiopian and it's right there in Georgetown.

It's in a pretty area, and you can get a lunch sampler for two for $26 ($14 for one person).

I second Bardo's recommendation for Bistro Lepic. It is very good.

Martin's Tavern in Georgetown is a 75 year old landmark and a favorite hangout for politicos.
