Need a recommendation to stay in Gatlinburg, one night....around $100 or less. ..walking distance to the hub of the activities. I booked the Edgewater, but decided their cancellation policy was too many days out.

The Edgewater is nice and is on River Rd which is one road over from the main strip. You could try Midtown Lodge,LeConte View,Gatlinburg Inn,They are all on the main strip and within walking distant of attractions,shopping and restaurants.Copy/paste the website and look at the hotels on the parkway and on River Road and they all will be within walking distance.

We go to the Smoky Mtns nearly every year. Last year we stayed at the River Terrace Resort & Convention Center in Gatlinburg. It is just behind the indoor mall on the Parkway, walking distance to everything. Prices are very reasonable, the room was clean and quiet.
We're going back again in June.
