Gas prices in your area?

The news should gas prices over 2 dollars last night, we are planning a 2500 miles trip by vehicle to South Dakota from Arkansas. What are gas prices where you are? Especially KS,WY,CO,MT,SD,IA,MN,and NE. Thanks ahead of time.

We are planning a driving trip from Ontario Canada to CO, WY, SD too & expect we'll have to highly increase our gas money budget from trips in years gone by...

Oh well. No plans to just stay home!

Would also be interested in any replies.

Funny thing

The price per barrel of oil has been coming down. Last I looked it was at $29 a barrel (down from $37) and that's now showing at our pumps in the DC/MD area. Regular gas is now in the $1.59 a gallon range.

Hope it stays in a better range cause a lot of us will forego driving trips if the price hovers around $2/gallon.

Syv: We visited Ontario last summer, LOVED IT. We watched a BLue Jays game from the CNTower. Beautiful country. What are your $$ exchange rates with the war in progress? Gas here is $1.64 gallon for reg unleaded, 1.74 for 89 oct, and 1.82 fro premium. But we are in southern Arkansas.

Northern end of the Shenandoah Valley had a decrese in price from between five and ten cents a gallon. Regular is now $1.499 / gal.

Watch the octane in the states mentioned. Last October regular was 82 instead 87 which shoud not be used in my car. I only burned a tank of it so no damage was done.

LN, where the heck in MD are you getting gas? Here in Montgomery County, it's about $1.81/gal for regular. That's exactly what I paid for it yesterday.

I paid 2.13 in Riverside California yesterday. But people here don't know how to vote so I expect it to go up rather then down anytime soon.

I agree with Ilisa, I just got off the phone with a friend in Columbia, MD and they're somewhere around $1.90
Last time I checked we (New Orleans) were just under $1.70

Hate to make you all jealous, but I paid $1.31 two days ago in Oklahoma City. The downside is that I have to live in Oklahoma City. We paid $1.89 in Miami a week ago.

Hi Ilisa

I'm in Annapolis - I got gas on West Street and that seems to be the range for most stations from Annapolis up to Baltimore. $1.59 for regular to $1.69 for high test.

Nasty, rainy day today. Someone said it was snowing lightly in upper Montgomery County MD??

LN, well I'm jealous. On top of the high gas price, it is snowing here. 70 degrees this past week and now snow. It simply isn't right. It's sticking to the grass and cars, but thankfully, not the pavement.

The gas prices here on the Monterey Bay are around $2.47 a gal. for premium. We have some of the most expensive gas in the country. In fact we pay more for just about everything here. Oh well, I suppose it's a small price to pay for living here.

Pittsburgh...west side near the airport...It is $1.54 at Costco and $1.55 at Sam's Club for regular unleaded.

I know the East side of town is always cheaper.

Thank goodness I got rid of my PREMIUM fuel only car! But I get less gas mileage now in my Odyssey. Can't win ;-)
