Fulton Lane Inn

Hi Margi, my husband and I stayed at the Fulton Lane Inn several years ago and we liked it very much. It is very private and the room we stayed in and the ones we viewed were enormous by regular hotel standards. We were a bit disappointed in the quality of the breakfast at that time (minimal effort; pastry not really fresh; no fruit) but that wouldn't keep me from staying there again. The entrance is really charming off a small alley from King Street and it is very convenient to shops on King. If you walk across the parking lot to the other side of the property, you are very close to Meeting Street. We liked the location. Very quiet and serene. Park the car and walk everywhere. Have fun.

Margi,
My husband and I stayed at Fulton Lane Inn about 6 yr. ago. It was 'okay' and our room was very spacious. We visited Charleston in May and stayed at Governors House Inn. I would not hesitate to recommend Governors House Inn and would stay here again when we return to Charleston.

The Lodge Alley Inn is very nice and located in the middle of town. We always enjoy the Elliott House Inn which has a very romantic courtyard. There's a nice jacuzzi nestled in the middle and they serve wine and chese/fruit at 4:30 every evening. Ask for one of their larger rooms! And their rates this time of the year are great...we stayed there last w/e for $100 a night! The restaurant beside Elliott House is called 82 Queen Street and also very nice!! Enjoy!
