Friday Itinerary - Please critique!

I finally have one day figured out. I would appreciate your comments.

Take RedLine to Metro Center then Orange/Blue Line South to Smithsonian and walk to P & I for 9:00 Private Tour.

Take Circulator from P&I around to Nat'l History or Nat'l Archives (depending on long lines)
Or walk to Hirshom Museum & the Castle
Then eat a bite. (WHERE?)

Capitol Tour at 1:00.
Then walk to Eastern Market - if it's still open
Then metro to Smithsonian Stop and do what we skipped in AM

End up at Sculpture Garden of National Art Gallery for last concert of the season. (Duke Ellington Jazz Festival)

Then go up around the Penn St area - find bistro/pub to eat light & have some wine.

On Saturday we have a White House tour at noon - but will do the Old Town Trolley in the am and pm. I'll post that for suggestions when I get it figured out.

Thanks for all the help.

Others will probably push the National Museum of the American Indian cafe - it's OK but I much prefer the National Gallery of Art.

Eat at the outdoor sculpture garden (between 7th&9th off the mall) if the weather is nice or indoors between 4th and 6th underground)near the indoor waterfall it the weather is so-so.

oops! Maybe P&E? Anyway, Printing and Engraving Museum.

Bardo,
Thanks. That will be perfect and on the way to the Capitol Tour also.

Eastern Market would be better for Saturday, when there's a lot more going on. Friday is just mainly going to be food.
