I saw this musical in San Francisco, sure they are making fun of shopping, but also offer "special" credit cards:

American Excess

Debts R Us

Master Fraud

Shopping is a serious problem for many.

If you substitute the word "travel" for "things"....

True, but travel is more a thing of personal exploration, I would think.

I don't necessarily live to travel, but I do love to travel. Travel puts a lot of things in perspective.
