Does anyone know when the French Laundry NYC
is going to open and how to get a reservation when it does open?

Just a guess, but if it is opening sometime in the next year and a half, it is probably already too late to get reservations before 2006.

The NYC French Laundry is opening in the new AOL-Time Warner facility on Columbus Circle. Obviously it won't open until construction is completed, which is believe is several months off.

It was discussed in last month's Town & Country, but I don't recall if the article mentioned a timetable.

Former chef from French Laundry has a new restaurant at Mohegan Sun Casino in Ct. called Rain excelent and reserations always available

Per Se is taking reservations as of 2/2/04. Same 2 months to the day reservation policy as F.L.

I just called today and got a reservation for 6 people, at 7 pm on March 22nd. I was on hold for about 6 minutes, but when they picked up, they couldn't have been nicer. I just said, 'I heard you are taking reservations. When can you have me?' And that was it. You can also visit their website at www.perseny.com. bon Apetite!

Patrick- I agree with probably not being able to get reservations until 2006!!!!! It took me an entire day on the phone to try to get reservations at the NAPA location, and when I finally got through, they told me the evening was all SOLD OUT!!!! What a drag!!! How great could this place REALLY be!?!?!?!?
