Does anyone have an insider tip on a hotel where we can park and use their shuttle service for no cost? Or, any other tips on cheap parking around O'Hare? We have a late evening flight, so have no need to stay in a hotel prior to departure. Thanks.

We always stay at Doubletree Club near O'Hare. You can park your car free for 2 weeks. The rates are right around $100/night. The hotel is located on Mannheim, about 1 to 1 1/2 miles north of the airport.
There is also a Marriott Courtyard on River Road. We used to stay there and do a park and fly, but they raised their rates a LOT for that "free" parking!

Slipperblue, if you're not willing to pay for a room for a night, it's not likely you're going to find "free" parking at a hotel. Of course it's not free, the price is built into the room revenues. I'm not too familiar w/ the area around ORD, but I know there's a train that comes into the airport. Maybe you can find cheaper parking near the trainstops somewhere between ORD & downtown.

For free, you can become a member of Marriott's Rewards, and park at the Courtyard by Marriott for $50.

We did that when we were on a Scandinavian cruise this summer, and we thought $50 was a bargain for 18 days of parking.
