Rant: my youngest grandson (age 3 months) lives in New York and I can't get away to see him just yet
Rave: my daughter sent a picture of him this morning - he's unbelievably cute!

Rant; The local NY Tv news, in a fight for ratings, are doing these scuzzy stories & touting "news x exclusive-you'll only see this here" WHO CARES???I'm so sick of irresponsible reporting & "uncovering" scandals that aren't scandals.

Rave: We leave for our first car trip to Fla. on Sunday. (Tips from GoTravel & Scarlett??) I'll open a thread.

Rant: Another freakishly cold blast of Artic air is making a beeline to Boston. I am so tired of being cold.

Rave: As always my kids - I love those 2 knuckleheads.

Rave: Celebrating 17 years of marriage this weekend to the father of the above mentioned knuckleheads. We're heading to Boston to be tourists in our own town once again. Can't wait to hit the North End. My stomache is rumbling already.

Rant: Saturday night its back to 22 below.

Rave: Satelite Direct TV will be offering local station affiliates channels this spring in my area. I get NY and LA affilliates of the three major broadcasters and have had enough of the NY stations. \/

Rant: Got hardly any sleep last night and having a hard time staying awake

Rant: Boss just asked me to come in on Monday, which we originally had off for the Federal Holiday.

Rave: Was excused was coming in on Monday as I have a prepaid reservation in DC

Rave: I'm going to DC with my BF for the weekend!

Rant: I don't know if we're coming back Sunday or Monday, because BF may have to work Monday, which means I may as well go in to work also

Rave: It's Valentine's Day weekend!

Rant: All the cheesy things that will be on TV as a result!! LOL

Rave: It's actually going to be in the 40's this weekend...woohoo, heat wave!

Rave: leaving tomorrow for Palm Springs!!!!

Rant:That knome is a rip off from Amelie nothing too creative in that commercial. If you saw the connection right away there is nothing freaky either, just a stab at pulling in the artsy crowd.

RANT: Working out is getting even harder-I just taught my last aerobics class (for now) . Oh ya, and my back hurts.

Rave: that freakishly weird but funny Quizno's commercial with the "singing" hamster/rat/rodent of some sort!!

Rant: i have so much to do at work that I SHOULD work through the weekend. But I'm not, so I'll just worry about coming in Monday all weekend.

Rave: My diet is still working!

Rant: I still have to get up early tomorrow to take my daughter to her Saturday class.

Rant The company I worked for before retirement just changed insurance carriers and the cost for prescriptions and insurance went through the roof.

Rave Cancelled the coverage and bought the meds in Canada for an annual savings of $2200.00.

Rant: This seems like the longest winter ever (however, I think I say that every year).

Rave: five weeks from now I'll be strolling along the streets of Paris.
