Rave: Tom Delay finally leaving Congress and goes out in the declasse way that he held the office.

Rant: Being a lawyer faced with monotonous tasks that a trained monkey could do.

Rave: The weekend is near. I can feel it.

Rant: Thai place at lunch had 1 waitress and it took forever.

Rave: The food was excellent.

Rant: Mother-in-law who I can't ever please. I do a nice thing, and she always finds a way to find fault.

Rave: My husband who deals with my impatience.

Rant: the Gay Marriage Amendment still being discussed. Is it really worth talking about anymore?

Rave: It was defeated in the Senate!

Rant : Found one. A guy I know just called me. He had nothing to say...at all...literally. There was that uncomfortable dead air after we exchanged the usual greetings, "what's up?" "nothing much" "what's new?" "nothing much".
Why do people call with nothing at all to say to you? grrrrrrrr.....hate that.

Rant: SO's 9 y/o (spayed) American Eskimo rescue has a strange and bad vag infection. I thought she might be diabetic, but no.

PS I made key lime pie, cherry pie (fresh picked!), chocolate chocolate cake, chocolate cupcakes and carrot cake for the bikers....me, I stayed at the rest stop and by the time I got back for lunch it was all gone (WHEW!)

Seetheworld--Yes, it was Starrsville who had the pillow recommendation. It was through Restoration Hardware. I bought a few and gave one to my mother for Mother's Day. She left for a cross country trip the very next day and said the pillow was fantastic!

Funny story about COBRA.

Once, between jobs, I needed urgent dental attention. As the dentist was not sure about my insurance, I said, just charge my credit card, and I will deal with reimbursement myself.

The check I received from my medical isurer was issued to, and I am serious, no kidding! ready? &quot;payable to Faina Cobra Again&quot;

My husband was ecstatic! He said, finaly they've figured out your true nature. Yes, we are still married.
