Freaky Friday Rants and Raves

One big rant today: I am not supposed to be posting on Freaky Friday today. Supposed to be hiking in Zion at the moment. Close friend and hiking buddy had to cancel trip at the last minute. I'm bumming big time.

Rave: We are trying to reschedule for May.

Rant: But it's going to be crowded then, and we can't get a good room. Nix on the Desert Pearl, and have to switch rooms twice in 5 days at Flanigan's.

Rave: At least we can get a room at Flanigan's, period.

Rant: This trip was scheduled for my birthday. Makes me realize how very much I look forward to and need those travel breaks!

Rant: The Apprentice is fixed. Nothing more than a marketing tool for Trump to show off all his properties and assets. And,Nick should have been fired last night. I dont think he said two words in the whole show.

Rave: 60 degrees in Boston today.

Rant:
I too missed my birthday abroad last week. We had to leave Italy the day before to return home early due to a family emergency. Paid an unholy amount of money to Alitalia for oneway tickets with 15 hours notice.
Rave:
Everything worked out fine at home, and I was glad we were here.
Rave:
We will just have to go back to Italy sooner now to complete this trip.

Rant: (stealing from Doc above): "The Apprentice is fixed. Nothing more than a marketing tool for Trump to show off all his properties and assets."

Rave: I figured that out when I saw the previews for the show before it ever aired, so never watched it. Is it over? Does that mean we won't have to watch the endless ads for it night and day? Hooray!

Rant: I spent my birthday scrubbing my bathrooms and going to a meeting. No time to do it any other day.
Rave: It is gorgeous here in VA this week. Happy Birthday to all the other March babies.

doc- Of course the Apprentice is fixed to a certain degree. You're smart enough to know that. And since when has opening your mouth on that show done anyone any good. Flying below the radar is what its all about - just like in the real world of business.

My rants: Nomar is injured. And I can't go to at least 2 of the Red Sox games that I bought tickets for.

Rave: Daubach - doc you know what I mean. Hate to see anyone get hurt and I'm glad its not serious but there's a little poetic justice in Brian Daubach, the dirt dog struggling to make the team, being involved in that play.

Rant: Staying at work until my flight. This day is dragging on and on!

Bennnie, So good to have Daubach back and I really expected to see the worst on that play. Wouldnt that have been a true "reversal of the curse" if it kept A-Rod out for a long time?

Rant: I own my own business and work very hard to make it profitable. I just had a relative tell me point blank that I have too much time on my hands and I need to get a job, have kids or help her on her farm - AAGGGHHH!

Rave: A trip to Provence is a possibility for next fall.

rave: I knew I'd feel better if I posted on here. I will at least not spend my birthday scrubbing the bathroom like Birdie, and at least I didn't get there and have to come home unexpectedly, like cyberUK.
margie: I own my own business too. Personally, I think it's nobody's business, not even a relative. What swipe that relative tried to take though (probably jealous?) I'd smile and say, "yeah, maybe someday; gotta go take care of business now" to all those statements and just get on w/the life you've chosen!

Happy Birthday to

Rant: I have Easter Break coming up - 10 days - and am not traveling. Unusual for me to stay home in Michigan during any break from work.

Damn, am I confused or what?

Rave: 4 weeks till vacation

Rave: Finally feels like spring here in NYC, so I was able to break out the open sandals...

Rave: They're filming a movie right outside my office window with a rain machine...it's supposed to be called "Dark Water".

Rave: It's Friday!!

Rave: The school kids will be on their Easter vacations soon and I will not have to deal with hearing them cursing and swearing and shoving on my bus to work! (They call one of the schools on my bus route "Marine Park Correctional")
