Fox Rental Car - SNA & LAX

Has anyone had experience with this car renal company? I did a search on "side step" and they came up with some CHEAP rates. Before I book I thought I'd like some feedback. Thank You.

I've seen some positive comments about them from time to time, but with these small companies the low rates seem to be quoted because they are gonna pester you to purchase the additional insurances.

I have never rented from Fox because I've usually found nearly the same rate by shopping around the various major car company sites for their specials and AAA deals.

We've rented from Fox in CA twice, and had no problems, except for the line "so, you just want the basic coverage, right?" No one ever pestered or pressured, it was just sneaky wording.

we used fox twice, once at lax and again at burbank. both were good experiences except they are a small company and off site. they have less shuttles than the biggies but each time we got a pt cruiser at far less than other places. actually at lax the cruiser is their economy rental. so if you are not a type a personality and have the time, go ahead.

thanx for the input - my husband and I know how to deal with the "insurance line" and their rates are excellent so we might give them a try!
