Fort Worth restaurants
Does anyone have a suggestion for a restaurant that teens would enjoy for a "before Prom" meal in Ft Worth. Something with some neat atmosphere, nice, but not overly expensive. And remember, they will be in formals. Thanks for any suggestions.

What about The Reata - www.reata.net or Angeluna (sp?). They're both downtown, but may be more expensive than you are looking for.

If you go to www.reata.net , then hit "relaunch site", then hit Reata Fort Worth, you will see the menu w/ prices. You can get main dishes for under $20. IMHO, the food can be reasonable if you choose the right thing - it it the alcohol that is expensive. Of course, if you get a salad, main dish, side dish and desert, that may blow the budget.

If you go to
http://www.guidelive.com/portal/page..._schema=PORTAL
you can do a restaurant search. I came across the following, but haven't been to any of them for years, so can't really vouch for the places.
Ruffinos Italian Restaurant
Sardines
Texas de Brazil
The Keg
Joe T Garcias (the girls may not like this idea since most seating is outside)
Good luck.

Exactly, JCB. Everything at Reata is priced ala carte, which makes a full meal expensive. I can't imagine going there and not ordering a full meal, though, especially on an elegant pre-prom evening.
How about Macaroni Grill? The atmosphere is somewhat elegant, and the food is not overly expensive, even if you order appetizers, dessert, etc. There is one at University and I-30.
I adore Joe T's and Uncle Julio's, but they both are very casual and loud.
Another thought is Lombardi's in the West End of Dallas.
