fort st john bc canada

What is fort st john bc Canada like for wildlife and scenery? My wife and I are considering that area for our vacation for a week in June or July of next year. Thanks!

You should post your question in the Canada forum.

I use to live there! Wow, you need to go up the highway a bit and the scenery gets prettier. Tons of wildlife but not right in the city.

I love the Fraiser river area and there is not a lot about this part of BC. I lived north of town but we did all our shopping, dining, doctors appointments in FSJ. Veru pretty area.

Thanks for the feedback. We've been to Banff/Jasper but were told by a big hunter from the states that wildlife is abundant around Ft. St. John. We're trying to decide whether to go to either BC, Utah (Moab area), or back to Montana around Great Falls and area north of Glacier National Park.
