I hate when people don't answer your question asked and just confuse the issue with another response. I haven't stayed at either resort, but have chosen Pink Shell for future travel because the children's program is included in price of stay for the summer. Something to think about if you have young children.

Bruce,
Although it's been almost 2 years since we visited, I still have very fond memories of the Pink Shell Beach Resort. The Resort is kind of spread out. It runs from bay to beach and it's basically at the tip of the island. The beach is quiet but you are close enough to town to bike or drive back and forth. We would go back and forth two or three times a day. My daughter who was 10 at the time and I rode bikes downtown to shop. It's a very quaint area. I believe the Beach Resort might be a bit closer to the action. I'm trying to remember exactly where it is. The one thing I'd say about the Pink Shell is that it truly felt like a resort, not just a hotel. Hope this helps, and I wish I were going! Have fun.
