Don,
I agree. I don't visit this site as frequently as I used to due to all of the rude comments. I don't understand why some people feel the need to make a nasty reply to what seems to me to be (most of the time) honest questions. I would gladly register with Fodors in order to post on this site if it would help - and I think it might help. As it stands now, I rarely post a question or reply because I don't want to give any of those type of people a chance to go off (just watch the replys to this). Also, I won't even give my name or email address anymore for fear of some sort of email virus being sent to me from someone who disagrees with my opinion and wants to retaliate.

T, perhaps tone down that self importance a bit. It's been said before, better. Yes, lets all register. And get a number too. And make a deposit against damages to the site. And prepay monthly memberships. And take solemn oaths to be truthful and serious in all things. And sign in blood never to utter a non-travel word ... or even think a non-travel thought when posting here. And to send the site out for fumigation every evening. And to smile constantly. Now, won't that be some fun. Yikes ... faith-based posting may even be possible. And never post anything more complex than W. could fathom. Fab parameters. Now, where's the exit? Ciao

This would be a pretty dull forum if not for the trolls and smart asses. Registering would cut down the posts and the threads by at least 50%.
How many times can you read and answer "Where's a good place to stay in Manhattan?" or, "Which is the best hotel in Las Vegas?"
Don't wish to hard for something, you may get it!
Keep the trolls comming!

W. ... whoops, LeighAnn. Sorry. Actually I'm quite open to registration. Heck, I'm already posting all over the place with my name ... and I may as well get some credit. And the folks who'd like to know where I park my car would at least have a name to fit to the image (can you imagine their images, gt;>). So, lets reform the site ... but how? I'm ready to register, but I doubt Fodors seriously cares very much about this site. It's all ours, I'm afraid. Ciao

I think the people that give opinions are honest. Sometimes though it is their personal opinions and experiences and not experiences that each individual will have when traveling to a particular country or state. It enjoyable for me to read posts. I learn alot and give some advice to people who are visiting Pennsylvania.
