Flying with baby

I have a friend who used to be an instructor for flight attendants at United Airlines. She once told me that there was no way in hell that the most loving, protective parent could safely hold an infant in the case of severe turbulence or an emergency landing. I know you all love your children--why not protect them in an airplane as you would in a car? My only suggestion is to add, try to schedule the feeding time as close to takeoff and landing as possible as sucking helps the ears. Good luck.

Dear Missy,
I read once that babies can sense people who despise kids. This makes the tykes very tense, and ear canals swell up, and they scream uncontrollably for hours from the searing pain.
Perhaps if you adjusted your attitude, you would have fewer problems with crying babies.
Have a nice flight!
