Flying to Martha's Vineyward from DC
Hi all,
a few friends of mine and I are thinking of renting a plane for the day and flying to Martha's Vineward and back. (the Diamond Stars are very fast, we could get up there in less than 2 hours).
any quick tips on stuff to do and see in one day? is the airport within walking distance from the main drag, or would we need to rent a car or taxi, etc.
places to eat, shop etc. although space in the plane may be a premium, and there will be two women, two guys - so we won't be doing so much shopping - nothing like fighting over cabin space! haha
thanks

flygirl,
I think think you could easily spend a day in Edgartown, especially if you like to shop! We recently stayed in Edgartown and found a lot of it very walkable. IMO, my second choice would be Vineyard Haven for the above reasons.
