IT ALL DEPENDS WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF YOUR TRIP. DO YOU WANT TO SWIM,SNORKLE, SEE HISTORY, AMUSEMENTS PARKS - WHAT IS YOUR THING. IF IT IS SWIMMING ON BEAUTIUL BEACHES I SUGGEST THE PANHANDLE ANYWHERE FROM PENSACOLA TO PANAMA CITY, NOT NECESSARILY IN EITHER OF THOSE PLACE BUT THE WATER IS LIKE THE CARIBEAN AND THE SAND BEAUTIFUL. FOR HISTORY THE ST AUGUSTINE JACKSONVILLE SIDE IS QUITE BEAUTIFUL AND HISTORIC (REAL HUMID - FOR THIS I WOULD GO IN LATE FALL OR EARLY SPRING. AMUSEMENTS PARKS DEFINIELY CENTERED IN ORLANDO AND IN SUMMER IT IS TOO HOT AND HUMID. THE WEST COAST OF SANSIBLE ISLAND AROUND FT. MEYERS IS BEAUTIFUL GREAT SHELLING BUT AGAIN TOO HUMID, I WOULD OPT FOR FALL BUT YOU CAN STILL ENJOY THE BEACH AS IT IS STILL WARM. THE KEYES ARE BEAUTIFUL IF YOU ARE INTO FISHING, BUT NOTHING ELSE TO DO THERE BUT FISH & SWIM AND OF COURSE DRINK. SO IT REALLY DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU LIKE AND WHEN YOU WANT TO GO.

Hi Rob,
We spend 2 weeks last(early)November in Florida, and weather for the most part was wonderful! We only had a few days of rain in Orlando, but it was still
warm.

Rob: I go to Florida in the summer. Yeah, it's hot and humid, but unless you live near the Canadian border, it's hot everywhere. Better to see palm trees in the humidity then what you can see out your window now! If you stay on the beach, you won't notice the heat as much. There's a constant breeze blowing. It's cheapest to go in the summer. It's the off season. However, if you visit the real touristy areas you might run into businesses that are closed. Even better than this--all the 'snowbirds' have gone back north!

Dear Friend,I agree with the reply recommending the beaches of the Panhandle they are fantastic.
However if you wish to go to Florida in the winter do not forget South Bech that little tiny area in the south of Miami Beach also called the Art Deco District.
Go there in winter if you like night life, jet set life,
international cuisine, and to see and be seen.
It is exciting and of course you have the beach while everybody else probably has the snow.
Also theatre, music, art galleries, bycicle, rides, roller skating, tennis, golf etc. South Beach has it all , but it aint cheap. Good luck/
