Florida Universal Studios

Have only one day to take in Universal. Better off to get the one park ticket or spring for the two parks? Wife likes shows.

Much will depend on when you go. With the Harry Potter world set to open by mid-June, expect big crowds if going after that day - especially if on a weekend.

You might want to consider staying for the night at one of the Universal Hotels as that will enable you to use your room keys to go onto their faster lines. With that benefit, you could certainly hit both parks in a day. Without it, it might be tough unless you intend to skip a bunch of things.

We just went to both parks two weeks ago. We spent a day in each and commented on how it was too hot to walk the distance between the parks to try to accomplish both in one day. Ryan is right - Potter attraction will be a madhouse (think it's scheduled for June 18). And, yes, that fast pass you get for staying at their property is very worth it - wouldn't do it any other way. Personally, I'd take a look at both parks' websites and choose one.

You can easily do both parks in one day. We have done it several times. The easiest choice is to buy the front of the line pass and then you will not have to worry about lines.

We have never bought the front of the line passes. We usually stay on property though. However, we have had vacations where time limited us to one day at Universal and we have done both.
