Florida Mom needs help planning ski trip

Would like to take our kids skiing in Vail, CO for spring break - 2 adults, 3 kids (7,7,10). Looking for suggestions on where to stay, preferably ski-in/ski-out that won't break the bank. Thanks!

hi chc, here's one link: http://www.vailcascade.com/vail-skiing-experience.php this is slightly removed from the main part of the village. but vail has an in town shuttle system so this is not an issue. ppl bus around the village all day & night.
you might also look at christiania lodge.
lionshead center is at the base of the highspeed gondola - is conodo.
the lodge at lionshead is fairly convenient to everything.
just a couple random thoughts to get you started. oh - and the vail kids ski school is very good.

chc - finding a ski in/ski out place in Vail during spring break that won't break the bank is frankly not going to be easy. I'm hesitant to suggest my usual recommendations because Vail is undergoing some massive renovations and I've heard that things are currently pretty chaotic. Hopefully, someone with more first hand knowledge can shed some light. What I would suggest is that you ask some detailed questions about the construction status with any recommendations you get. Sorry I'm not directly answering your questions, but thought this might help.
