Hello......First timer in Florida and we (reunion of 5 women) have to select a time share over Columbus weekend. Our choices are in the areas of jensen Beach and New Smyma Beach. What area would be our best choice? Thank you!

I have a little experiment for you to do. Google "shark bite capital of the world" and see which beach comes up. That may help you decide.

New Smyrna is beautiful, take what Vic says with a grain of salt.

New Smyrna, great beaches, shops and places to eat. They only like the surfers. You can fly into Daytona Beach and even explore that area. Port Orange is in between and great new shopping pavillion.

I live about an hour south of Jensen Beach. Ive never been to New Smyrna but I wouldn't choose Jensen Beach as my first choice.

My good friend owns a condo in New Smyna Beach, so I have been there several times. New Smyna is very nice. There are shops and restaurants. We usually take a day and visit St. Augustine. The new shopping paviilion in Port Orange is very nice. We enjoy eating at Aunt Catfish in Port Orange. I have never been to Jensen Beach so I cannot comment.
