Flights Help.......Please
I have been trying hard to find a direct flight to Orlando from the U.K (probably a London airport)without much success. So far I've only found British Airways and Virgin Atlantic which are both very expensive. Does anybody know of any others, by the way we don't have to fly to Orlando we just thought this would be a good starting point for touring Florida.
Any help, tips or suggestions most welcome.
Thanks.

Hi,
I have no idea when you are traveling but I put some information in a site I used which gives all flights available between two points. You might want to check this out and see if you can work out a cheaper flight using some of the others they give. I could not find anything direct from London to Orlando either from the info on this site. It's: http://www.smarterliving.com/bin/flightsearch.cgi
Good luck with your search!

November is an expensive month for flying. If you are planning to travel during the week before or week after Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) it will probably be impossible to find an inexpensive flight. Thanksgiving is the busiest time of year for flights - particularly for destinations like Orlando. You might check for flights with as much flexiablity as possible in regards to departure dates, arrival and departure cites, etc. in order to increase your chance of finding an inexpensive flight. Maybe you could start your trip in Atlanta (cheaper to fly into a hub), work your way south and fly out of Miami? (or vis versa...). I would also guess that flying to Miami would be cheaper, since it is a larger international airport than Orlando. Hope this was helpful.

Nic, In rethinking this I believe there is a Jacksonville (FL) to BWI (Baltimore) to Shannon flight on Aer Lingus. Perhaps British Airways does something similar? BWI or Dulles would not be as much of a "tourist" attraction during November as some other places. Have you checked with the U.S. carriers? One caveat is that you don't want to go too far north of D.C.to make a connection in November because of the possibility of bad weather.
