Flamingo Hotel- HELP

My wife and I are going to Vegas for 3 nights midweek July. Got a good rate at the Flamingo. Any comments on room and pool area? We like nice clean rooms but of course it doesn't have to be extremely luxorious. Scale of one to ten how do flamingo rooms rate and how does the pool rate????? any other comments or info would be appreciated!!

We've been to Las Vegas numerous times. We personally enjoy the Flamingo a lot. The rooms are nice, not as fancy as the Venetian or Bellagio but better than average. The pool area is exceptional. We take our children (8 and 10 yrs) there once a year. The pools have waterfalls, a water slide, and a cocktail bar. The palm trees and some lounge chairs have water misters on them, also there is music playing all day around the pool. We will be staying there at the end of next month for a week.

We recently stayed at the Flamingo while with a wedding group and we were very pleased with our room, the cleanliness and the pool area was wonderful. Also, the rates are great as is location. We had a room looking right at the Bellagio Fountains and had a better view of the shows than we did when we stayed at the Bellagio or Paris. All in all a very pleasant experience.

cali-thanks for the message. did you request a room that faced bellagio? Also, how is the pool area crowd is it over run by college kids. We are in our mid thirties but would prefer not to be around a spring break type atmosphere at the pool. Fun/party atmosphere in the casino is fine but we like to relax by the pool. We appreciate any info you have!!! Thanks
